HOMEMADE: SPICY PAPRIKA HUMMUS

After two months of going out for lunch, my wallet starts to feel a lot lighter.
The point is, I am not satisfied with an ordinairy peanutbutter sandwich. I like food to much for that.
So what is delicious, cheap, healty, easy and homemade what I can eat for breakfast/lunch and take with me...?

So today I started making a big jar of spicy red paprika hummus.
Recipe..
Ingredients:

400      gr. chickpeas
100      gr. roasted red paprika
3           tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2    tablespoon tahini
1           clove of garlic (finely chopped)
1/2       teaspoon ground cumin
1/2       teaspoon cayennepepper
1/4       teaspoon salt
             handful parsley

HOW TO:

1. Put the dried chickpeas in a bowl of water en leave it for 24 hours.

2. Mix the chickpeas, red paprika's, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, cumin, cayenne pepper and salt in a blender. The mixture needs to be creamy and airy.

3. Spoon the mixture into a bowl and put it in the refrigerator for one hour.

4. Serve it with a little bit of chopped parsley and drizzle a little bit of olive oil on it.
(Eat it with bread as a small snack, starter or make a sandwich like I did with rocket and tomatoes)

Bon appetit!

    1. Hi,
Thanks! and an advice. Keep your website clear and simple.
People don't like seeking for nice things, they should be able to see it right at your first page.
Create a clear menu and with a read more button you can make your posts shorter. If people like the first two pictures of a post they will read more of it. This creates an overview of your website.
Mine also needs a lot improvement ;)

      Good luck X
